General Comments: This casino has been on the Internet since 1996 and has been an advertiser on this site. All my play was for 'fun'; no real $$$ were wagered at any time. This is a very attractive site using proprietary software with lots of helpful information available for the prospective player. A very nice feature here is a 'history' of the hands played which was accurate when I checked my play. Even in the 'fun' mode, you are connected to their server, so you can get an idea of how play would proceed in the real-money mode. Three types of tables are offered: private, public and group. You may, if you wish, get a group table with up to three players if you care to have friends join you in play. At the public table, you'll join other players who have chosen that option and at a private table, you play alone.
Recommendations: This is a very nice site, but I'd like to see them put in more games in a broader range of denominations, especially at Video Poker. Also, problems are handled only by fax or e-mail. They really should have a toll-free phone number, since players with problems want to talk to a 'real' person.

Games Analysis
(All this information was correct on the date listed above)
Blackjack: This is a four-deck game where the dealer stands on A-6, you may double on any first 2 cards, double after split is allowed and the dealer 'peeks', so only one bet is lost if s/he has a 'natural'. Insurance is available. Like pairs may be split, but I'm not sure that they can be resplit. The decks are evidently shuffled after every hand. With these rules, the casino's edge is about 0.40 %. Limits are $1 to $250.
| Video Poker | | *Theoretical Return |
| Game type | Denominations | Maximum coins | Minimum coins |
| Jacks or Better | $1 | 97.3% | 96% |
* The theoretical return is the long-term payback a player who is using the correct strategy may expect. The return is lower for 1-coin play because the Royal Flush pays less when fewer than 5 coins are played.
Slot Machines: One is available and it's a single-line machine that takes up to three coins. Both $.25 and $1 versions are available.
Craps: This is a standard game which allows 3X odds, some of the highest available on the 'Net. Limits are $1-$100.
Roulette: This is a 'European' wheel with a single zero, so the casino has a 2.70% edge. The 'en prison' rule does not apply. Limits are $1 minimum, $100 maximum on any one spot with an overall limit of $250 per spin.
Baccarat:
This is a standard game with a 5% 'commission' charged on winning bank bets. The casino's edge on a Player bet is 1.23% and 1.06% on a Bank bet. Ties pay 8 to 1. Limits are $1-$250.
Summary and Rating of the Casino-on-Net:
This is an attractive site with many very nice features. It would be fun to get two other friends and get a group Blackjack table, because a chat feature is also available and you can visit with one another as you play. While the Video Poker is sub-par, the Craps and Roulette are excellent, and there's a lot to like, overall. In working with their marketing people regarding the large number of ads they have placed with us, I have to say that I've seldom seen a more sincere group of people. Casino-on-Net has been around since 1996 and that says a lot in itself, but for them to continually try to improve their customer service (free cash outs!!) is a laudable trait which I cannot ignore. Therefore, I'm happy to give Casino-on-Net a score of 89 points.
